AMCAP | Association of Media and Communication Academic Professionals

Media Ethics

The establishment of a dedicated Section of Media Ethics within AMCAP signifies a significant step forward in our commitment to fostering academic excellence and responsible media practices. This specialized division will serve as a focal point for research and academic endeavors in the field of media ethics, addressing an increasingly vital aspect of the media landscape. By dedicating resources and expertise to this domain, we aim to facilitate critical examination, discussion, and research on ethical standards, integrity, and accountability in media. The section of Media Ethics will play a central role in coordinating research initiatives, providing guidance to academics and scholars, and organizing events and discussions that delve into the complexities of media ethics. This focus will not only empower our members with the knowledge and tools to navigate ethical challenges but also contribute to a more responsible and trustworthy media industry, aligning with the core principles of AMCAP's mission.
