The 2023 4th AMCAP Doctoral Spring School, hosted by Beaconhouse National University in Lahore, Pakistan, aimed to improve the quality and rigor of Communication and Media Studies Ph.D. research projects in the country. The program spanned nine days and offered Ph.D. candidates and M-Phil students the opportunity to enhance their research skills with the mentorship of faculty members from various international backgrounds, such as Czech Republic, Nigeria, Sweden, Russia, USA and Germany. Renowned scholars from Pakistani universities also delivered lectures and facilitated workshops. The program comprised more than 40 sessions, covering lectures, workshops, media dialogues, panel discussions, presentations, one-on-one sessions, and guidance on scholarships and funding. Five particpants won merit scholarships for this school.
