| This scholarship honors Prof. Dr. Mughees Uddin Sheikh, a renowned national scholar celebrated both nationally and internationally. He was a distinguished educationist and a research analyst. His global recognition was marked by the prestigious John F. Murray Award (USA). His exceptional dedication to education earned him the Presidential Award 'Izaz-i-Fazeelat' and the University Best Teacher Award by HEC. Prof. Dr. Mughees Uddin Sheikh was also a recipient of the Quaid-e-Azam Gold Medal and the Excellence Crown Award from the International Public Relations Association. The scholarship was sponsored by son of Dr. Mughees Uddin Sheikh in 2022. |

The scholarship is given in honor of Prof. Dr. Sharif al Mujahid, a monumental journalist, author, and academic. He was a founding member of the Journalism Department (now known as the Department of Mass Communication) at Karachi University. Additionally, he founded and served as the director of the Quaid-i-Azam Academy. Prof. Dr. Sharif al Mujahid is renowned for his historical journalism during the Pakistan Movement. He authored books of historical importance, many of which were translated into various languages. The scholarship was sponsored by daughter of Dr. Sharif al Mujahid in 2021, 2022, & 2023. |

He was awarded the Presidential Pride of Performance Award in 2016 and the Zafar Ali Khan Award in 2015.
