1. Full Membership
Academicians of public/private universities and colleges having their degree in mass communication/ communication studies/ media studies/ journalism and employed in the department of mass communication/ communication studies/ media studies/ journalism can become members of AMCAP.
Academicians of public/private universities and colleges having their degree in mass communication/ communication studies/ media studies/ journalism and employed in any teaching department other than department of mass communication/ communication studies/ media studies/ journalism can become members of AMCAP.
2. Associate Membership
Visiting academicians of public/private universities and colleges in the department of mass communication/ communication studies/ media studies/ journalism having their degree in mass communication/ communication studies/media studies/ journalism can become associate members of AMCAP.
Permanent academicians of public/private universities and colleges in the department of mass communication/ communication studies/ media studies/ journalism having their degree other than mass communication/ communication studies/ media studies/ journalism can become associate members of AMCAP.
Students enrolled in PhD programs of public/private universities and colleges in the department of mass communication/ communication studies/ media studies/ journalism can become associate members of AMCAP
3. Student Membership
Students enrolled in MPhil programs of public/private universities and colleges in the department of mass communication/ communication studies/ media studies/ journalism can become associate members of AMCAP.
Students who have completed their MPhil can continue with student membership after five years of their degree completion.
4. Honorary Membership
Chancellor or Vice Chancellor of the Public/Private University.
Retired Professor of mass communication/ communication studies/ media studies/ journalism.
Senior journalist having more than twenty years’ of experience.
